Dear Grade Level Reading Coalition Members:
Last week, the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), an important measure of Baltimore’s progress on reading proficiency, released their 2013 results for 21 urban districts including Baltimore.
Overall, Baltimore City’s 4th grade proficiency scores have remained constant since 2011. In partnership with the Campaign’s research partner, BERC, the Campaign will be conducting a deeper analysis for the coalition at the beginning of 2014. I look forward to working with you in the New Year.
Have a happy and safe holiday. Click here to read the full December Newsletter.
